Crucible

a native, offline data workbench for macOS

Stack operations into a formula, pipe your text through it, and read the result. Encoding, hashing, ciphers, JSON, SQL, and text tools, all running on your Mac. Nothing you paste ever leaves the machine.

faq

How is my data handled?

Everything runs locally. Crucible ships with the macOS App Sandbox on and no network entitlement, so it cannot make a network request. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no telemetry.

Which macOS versions are supported?

macOS 14 (Sonoma) and later.

Do files I open get uploaded anywhere?

No. A file is read only when you explicitly pick it with Load, and it stays on your device. Output is only saved or copied when you ask.

Is there an iPhone or iPad version?

Not yet. The engine is a portable Swift package, so an iOS/iPadOS version is possible down the line.

Where can I report a security issue?

Email crucible@onurdemiray.com with the details and I will follow up directly.
